Jupiter rescued from Breasta killing public shelter.
Europe4strays becomes a registered Romanian NGO with headquarter in a small village of Vrancea County. 100% volunteer run by Ester resident in France and Mirela resident in Romania. We are mostly involved in the rescue of Romanian stray dogs dying in public shelters or on the streets in the most cruel ways throughout the country.
We fundraise to build private shelters, to buy food, to pay veterinary expenses, passports and transport costs for the dogs adopted abroad.
We raise awareness and spread petitions through social media and you can follow us on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
In 2018 we will launch our first Spay/Neuter campaign, sterilization is the only efficient way to stop the suffering of the stray dogs. so that there are less unwanted dogs in need of our help. We do this by working with the local community, educating people and by covering the costs of neutering for people on a low income.
We pay particular attention to the promotion of our rescued dogs for adoption. For us they are very special dogs and deserve the perfect family.
To adopt a pet is a strong commitment and we invite you to examine our adoption process and contact us if you think you could offer the time and commitment it requires to adopt a Romanian stray.
We have fallen in love with the beautiful Romanian stray dogs and we hope our actions will help to bring some positive change in their future.
Galgos and Podencos welfare are another important aim of our mission as well as Greyhounds, Greek strays, Serbian and Bosnian forgotten dogs.
